The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has warned consumers that some baby enclosures and gates are dangerous. There have been numerous entrapments and fatalities caused by such devices. In some cases this allowed children to access the area the gate was supposed to restrict them from; in others, hardware broke off creating a choke hazard.
